As you all know, the school year is upon us, growing ever closer to us. If you would like information on a particular thing, view below:

1. House Points
At this point of time the Hufflepuff House is pretty
far in the lead for this amazing competition, which
determines the winners of the House Cup. Next in the
line up is Ravenclaw with Gryffindor breathing down
their backs. Finally is the Slytherin House, which
is very far behind all the other houses. Youd
better get to referring people and hope they end up
in your house!

check the website under the House Points section.
2. Quidditch
When the school year starts, so will Quidditch, the
ultimate wizards sport. The spots on the teams are
filling up very quickly. There are only three
positions open on the Gryffindor team and two on
both the Hufflepuff and the Ravenclaw teams. Now if
you are in Slytherin, good news for you because with
a house with so few students, there is still a whole
team to fill up, so get on it!
For practice schedules check your common room and
for a spot on the team neomail Headmistress Carly
(legoli_greenleaf) and shell approve it with your
Head of House. If you dont have one, Carly herself
may give you the spot. But remember you may only get
that spot if its open. Also remember to give it
your all and your team may just win the Quidditch
Cup!
3. Yule Ball
September Fifth is the set date for the Yule Ball.
The Yule Ball is to celebrate the beginning of the new school year. Remember that you cannot go unless
you have a date for this dance and also that the
boys must ask the girls.
Remember to donate items that can be used for this
for party favors and stuff. Donate to
kimontoavalon41101 and shell create the party
favors and other fun things just for this occasion.
Any excess items will go straight to Head Mistress Carly for donation trades to help improve the guild.
4. Prefects, Head Boys/Girls, and Head of Houses?!
Now prefects, head boys, and head girls are
sweeping, or flying, throughout the Hogwarts
Hallways, but now we have a new addition to our
family of positions, Head of House. Head of Houses
are just like Professor McGonagall for Gryffindor,
Professor Sprout for Hufflepuff, and Snape for
Slytherin. At this point of time the only Head of
House is Professor Alex Gold for Hufflepuff. To
reach this point you have to become a Prefect,
become a Head Boy/Girl, then request to be Head of
House. Hurry or you may miss your chance.
Gryffindor needs a Head Boy and Head Girl plus a
Head of House while Ravenclaw lays the exact same
way for now. Slytherin needs everything, a boy and a
girl Prefect, a Head Boy and a Head Girl, AND a Head
of House, so if your in Slytherin it should be easy
to get a position and quickly move up, especially since you have very little competition for now.
5. Meet the Teachers
So, before the school year starts I felt you should
know about the teachers at Hogwarts, you know the
411 on whose teaching what this year. Now we have a
completely new and improved, not to mention
wonderful, staff this year. Professor Matt
(da_bomb_harry_) is teaching Defense Against Dark
Arts and Potions while both Astronomy and Occulmency
are being taught by Professor Lexy (lexy_22).
Marissa (li_hing_girl) is taking care of Transfiguration and Herbology and you cant forget
watsupsoyay whom is teaching Care of Magical
Creatures and Charms. The classes of Muggle Studies
and History of Magic are being taught by myself ,
Professor Erin Victoria J. Saray while doggie_lover98052 is going to be cramming Divination
and Flying into your heads. Finally Zjer is going to
teach Arithmancy.
Plus, even if shes not a teacher anymore,
Headmistress Carly (legoli_greenleaf) is the founder
and, of course, amazing headmistress of this
wonderful establishment. It is to my personal
experience that all of these teachers are nice, but
take there job seriously, but remember that none are like Snape.
6. Newbie Packs and Diagon Alley
Onto further news, Newbie Packs are now out. The
contributor of these gift packs for new members is
kimontoavalon41101 and she will update them as much
as she can. The only catch is you have to have been
in the guild for a week, at least, before you may have one. Then offer any item on the Newbie Pack trade.
Also Diagon Alley and the school list of requirements are both up and running perfectly fine. You can find the link to both on the web page in
working order. Diagon Alley is Headmistress Carlys (legoli_greenleaf) shop and you use neopoints, so its less complicated for everybody.
7. Upcoming Events
Soon, as soon as I (forget_me_not_248) raise enough
neopoints for it, the guild will be having a paintbrush giveaway (Headmistress Carly will be deciding what kind of paintbrush). To donate, but
for m shop and/or make offers on my trades. Items
will be sold and all neopoints offered/received by
sales will be added to my paintbrush bank, which has about 26,000 neopoints so far.
Also you cant forget about the Triwizard Tournament. For the first time ever in this guild,
three champions chosen by the Goblet of Fire will compete in the spectacular three-part competition of brains, brawn, logic, and most of all, magic.

Tournament section. The chosen three will be announced after the Hogwarts school year begins, which is September First.
8. Congratulations
I would like to take this section to say
Congratulations to a few people:
1. Headmistress Carly (Gryffindor) for this wonderful guilds great success.
2. To Professor Lexy of Hufflepuff for being the
first to reach the honorable position of Head of
House (not to mention the only so far).
3. To _da_bomb_harry_ (Hufflepuff) for becoming Head
Boy along side myself as new Head Girl.
4. To the whole Hufflepuff house for being ahead in
the House Cup. Keep it up!
5. All the members of this guild for being so great!
