Hello class and welcome to Transfiguration! I hope you all enjoyed your summer. I expect you all to work hard in this class and have fun! :) This year we will be transfiguring simple things like matches into needles. We will move into more advanced lessons when I feel like you are ready.

Ok, I won't have you guys writing papers or essays for me that often and when I do I will give you all extra time to work on them. The number of points you earn on your assignments will be added to your house points.

Grading papers: All turned in papers recieve 3 points. If the papers are good, they include examples, quotes, opinions, reasons etc., then I may add extra points. If they are poor and sloppy I may take away points.

Grading Questions: Most of the time I will give you a worksheet with questions on it. The grading for this is simple. The number of questions you get right is the number of points you earn.
